Are you a freelancer and you like the trade? Do you have a small or large business and are interested in promoting your products to the huge internet audience? Is it time to build your own website or upgrade an existing one?

A website in our time, whether personal or professional, is essential in order to show the services and products of your company or simply put things that interest you, on a personal page or blog.

In order for someone to acquire its own website, one thing is needed...

To build the website.

Essentially a website is a program, namely whether the letters will be small or large and whether the color at one point will be black or red. All that there is behind a website a code that runs all the time and shapes the appearance and functions of the website.

So one thing that needs to be done is the creation of the website, the "construction" as we (developers) love to say, which includes all these things. So, eventually, the website will have the appearance and the functions we want.

But the real question is, how do I create a website on my own?

The answer is YES and YES. You can.

Read below the things you will need to get first in order to build your own websites (or websites).

Domain Names

The first step in obtaining your own website is the purchase one or more Domain Names. The Domain Names we rent them for 2 years, and we can not buy them once in a lifetime. Shortly before maturity, the renter is entitled to renew the rental of a Domain Name from the state for the next 2 years.

In case the renter (you) does not renew the "property", the Domain Name is closed but remains blocked for 15 days. In these 15 days, the original tenant can submit a new rental application but with a more expensive cost. After 15 days and if the original tenant does not renew, the Domain Name is free to rent from any natural or legal person.

Is the Domain name I need available?

To check which names are free to register (rent) You should visit the official website of the domain name registrar or use a tool like NameMesh. (I use namemesh for all my domain name needs.)

Web Design

The second step is the construction of your website. You will need a logo of your website and to know the basic backbone of your website - the Menu. It is good to have the texts and the photos you want to appear on your website (products, services, etc.) ready. The other materials are related to the content of the website you want to create and you will be informed about them by the web design company you choose.

Website hosting

After purchasing the name and creating your website, you need a Web hosting package. The size and cost of the hosting package are related to the content of the website and the goals you have for your website. E.g. indicatively, if you are interested in SEO and making money online, you should have in mind that search engines (e.g. Google) score different websites hosted on fast Web Servers than those hosted on slow Web Servers. Also, a small website needs a simple and economical web hosting package while a portal with high demands in Video needs Dedicate Web Servers that are a lot more expensive.

That is, the website must be located on a computer that is constantly connected to the Internet.

There are many companies that provide web hosting. So, for example, anyone can rent an apartment in a block of flats and set up his or her own servers in order to offer hosting package for himself for free. Of course, this requires a lot of technical knowledge and a big initial investment.
